popularity for all wrong reasons

How long does it take one to teach a fish to walk??

Iv been a land person for the last two decades.put me in a pool full of water where buoyancy keeps interefering with gravity then blame me for almost drowning at a depth of 4 feet.

Its not easy holding onto the rail at the shallow end, with kids (i call them tadpoles) jumping in and out and swarming all over the place.show offs!!
u need to loose ur balance for just a nanosec ,and ur looking at the water surface from below.and then chlorinated water floods all the emtpy spaces in ur brain and then ur circuits get shorted. The neurons cant communicate with your muscles.legs refuse to stretch out. I keep bobbing up and down (at 5 ft its doable) in a foetal position and immagining this it...tommorows headlines in iitb general "student dies a violent death by drowning... at the shallow end of the pool".

barely manage thrash the water surface..meekly signaling for help ...while a fat mom with 9 kids stood glaring at me..looks translated to "how dare u scare my kids"!!
This later on became the famous "how she drowned in 4 ft of water" story which whenevr a dinner table conversation went silent was told and re told and the narrator kept falling of her
seat guwaffing while the others just looked on...u see..in her extreme enthusiasm to publicise the event shed forget that half the people on the table wouldnt know me.

There were many other such stories .."how she crashed her cycle into the hostel gate" ..."how she crashed her cycle next to the bank"..etc..the severe trauma of all these stories managed to keep my cycle neatly tucked away at one corner on the hostel shed...2 months after id bought till...till it rusted and decayed and dissapeared after two years.
