they wish time stands still and just let them be
for men who slog for a certain ounce of ken
they wish it slow down until the strike of ten
for the lady at 9-5 work, as she connects with three
she wishes the latter to stay and the first to flee
for men who seem idle, there is something unknown
theyve been pondering of a new life ahead, new seed to be sown
the transition is sometimes unbearable, sometimes desired
